ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR ROAD BLADING AND OTHER MISCELLANEOUS ROAD MAINTENANCE AND CONSTRUCTION
FOR SPRING LAKE TOWNSHIP
Spring Lake Township is currently accepting bids for road blading and other miscellaneous road maintenance and construction. The Township currently maintains 24.7 miles of gravel road and 22.3 miles of bituminous road.
Spring Lake Township will accept bids with hourly rates for the contract periods:
- November 16, 2009 to November 15, 2010
- November 16, 2010 to November 15, 2011
- November 16, 2011 to November 15, 2012
The blading equipment required is a Road Grader with a minimum of 150 horse power.
Bids must include a schedule of all available grading and maintenance equipment and the applicable hourly rate for each of the three separate contract periods. Bids must also include an hourly fee for miscellaneous gravel hauling for each of the three contract periods.
All bids must include a copy of the certificate of insurance showing current worker's compensation coverage and a general liability policy with an aggregate limit of at least $1,500,000.
Bids will be accepted at the Spring Lake Town Hall, located at 20381 Fairlawn Avenue, Prior Lake, MN during the normal office hours of Mondays and Wednesdays, 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
The deadline for submitting bids is noon on Monday October 5, 2009. Bids will be opened at that time and prepared for consideration by the Town Board. Bids will be considered at the monthly Township Meeting held at the Town Hall on Thursday, October 8, 2009 at 6:00 p.m.
