ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR SNOW AND ICE REMOVAL FOR
SPRING LAKE TOWNSHIP
Spring Lake Township is currently accepting bids for snow and ice removal for the years 2009 - 2012. The Township currently maintains 24.7 miles of gravel road and 22.3 miles of bituminous road.
Spring Lake Township will accept bids with hourly rates for the contract periods:
- November 16, 2009 to November 15, 2010
- November 16, 2010 to November 15, 2011
- November 16, 2011 to November 15, 2012
The minimum equipment required is:
- Snow Plow - truck with plow, wing and sander with a minimum 5 yard box.
- Road Grader for Plowing Snow - grader with a V-plow and wing with a minimum 150 horse power.
Bids must include a schedule of all available equipment and the applicable hourly rate for each of the three contract periods.
All bids must include a copy of the certificate of insurance showing current worker's compensation coverage and a general liability policy with an aggregate limit of at least $1,500,000.
Bids will be accepted at the Spring Lake Town Hall, located at 20381 Fairlawn Avenue, Prior Lake, MN during the normal office hours of Mondays and Wednesdays, 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
The deadline for submitting bids is noon on Monday October 5, 2009. Bids will be opened at that time and prepared for consideration by the Town Board. Bids will be considered at the monthly Township Meeting held at the Town Hall on Thursday, October 8, 2009 at 6:00 p.m.
